The Hireman Celebrates Success at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2026

The Hireman is proud to share our success at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2026, hosted by the Hire Association Europe (HAE).

The awards evening brought together businesses from across the hire industry to celebrate achievement, service, innovation and best practice. It was a fantastic night for The Hireman, as we were recognised in two prestigious categories:

Winner – Health & Safety Champion of the Year – Alex Milne
Runner-up – SafeHire Plant, Tool & Equipment Hire Company of the Year

To be recognised alongside so many respected hire businesses is a brilliant achievement and a proud moment for everyone at The Hireman.

Celebrating Health & Safety Excellence

Health and safety is central to everything we do at The Hireman. From our depots and transport operations through to customer support on-site, maintaining safe working practices is a responsibility we take seriously every day.

We were especially proud to see Alex Milne, Head of Strategic Operations at The Hireman, take home the Health & Safety Champion of the Year award.

This recognition highlights Alex’s outstanding contribution, leadership and dedication to upholding and advancing safety standards across the business.
