Recommended when using 240V equipment, this Residual Current Device (RCD) is designed to protect against the risks of electric shocks and fire caused by earth faults. The circuit breaker will cut off the power supply should a fault occur and the current run higher than usual. It is easily reset once the fault has been identified and repaired.
