Former Kitchener Barracks, Chatham

Once a historic British Army installation, Kitchener Barracks is now undergoing a major transformation into a new residential development, with many of its original structures being carefully preserved. The Hireman has supported the redevelopment by supplying a wide range of small tools and multiple DeltaDeck platforms, helping contractors carry out restoration and construction work safely and efficiently across this landmark site.

Dungeness A Power Station

Located on the Kent coast, Dungeness Nuclear Power Station remains a significant part of the UK’s long-term nuclear decommissioning programme. During the full refurbishment of a contractor compound on site, The Hireman supplied a wide range of equipment to support the works. This included tower access equipment, generators, hammer drills, cut-off saws and other essential tools, helping the project team complete the renovation safely and efficiently.

Rochester Riverside Regeneration

Rochester Riverside is one of Medway’s most significant regeneration projects, transforming a former brownfield site into a vibrant new residential and commercial community. The Hireman supported this major housing development by supplying a range of high-performance equipment, including 940-litre bowser pressure washers, cut-off saws and Stage V super-silenced diesel generators, helping contractors maintain productivity throughout the project.

Leeds Castle Pavilion

Set within the historic grounds of Leeds Castle, The Pavilion is a beautifully restored heritage building that now serves as both a community space and a prestigious events venue. The Hireman supported restoration works by supplying pressure washers, fume extractors and support props, helping contractors carry out the project safely while preserving the character of this unique structure.

Rochester, Kent

Xtra Cross Hire: Supporting a new-build construction project in Rochester, our customer required specialist plant for groundworks and compaction. Through The Hireman’s Xtra cross-hire service, we sourced and delivered a 5-tonne excavator along with a BOMAG BW 120 roller, ensuring the contractor had the right equipment to complete the works safely and efficiently.
