Introducing DeWalt POWERSHIFT™ at The Hireman

At The Hireman, investing in our hire fleet isn’t simply about adding more equipment. It’s about making sure our customers have access to the latest technology available and the right tools to meet the changing demands of modern construction sites. That’s why we’re pleased to be introducing DEWALT POWERSHIFT™ technology to our hire fleet.

Designed to bring high-performance battery power into applications traditionally reliant on petrol or mains power, POWERSHIFT represents another important step forward for cordless equipment on site. With reduced noise, zero direct emissions during use and no need to refuel, the system provides contractors with greater flexibility without compromising on performance.

 

Our latest investment

 

One of the first additions arriving at The Hireman is the new DEWALT Cordless Dry/Wet Diamond Core Drill.

Designed for demanding professional applications, the cordless core drill provides the freedom to work without trailing power leads while still delivering the performance required for heavy-duty diamond drilling.

It can be used handheld for dry coring up to 100mm and, when paired with the DEWALT POWERSHIFT Diamond Drill Stand, for wet coring up to 162mm – providing a highly capable cordless solution for a wide range of drilling applications.

We’re also excited to be teaming up with DeWalt at the Kent Construction Expo on Thursday 1 October 2026.

Visitors to Stand M01 will be able to see a large selection of the DEWALT POWERSHIFT line-up on display and get a closer look at some of the latest cordless technology available to the construction industry.

It’s a great opportunity to see the equipment up close, speak to both The Hireman and DEWALT teams, and find out how the latest battery-powered solutions could benefit your next project.

This latest addition forms part of our wider commitment to continually improving and modernising The Hireman fleet.

Battery technology continues to develop rapidly, opening up opportunities to replace equipment that has traditionally depended on petrol engines, generators or mains power. By investing in systems such as DEWALT POWERSHIFT, we can give our customers access to newer ways of working while helping them reduce noise, emissions and unnecessary equipment on site.
